Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies this website uses and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are needed for the site to work; others, such as those set by embedded third-party content, are used only with your consent.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | This site | Remembers your language choice (English / Finnish). | Necessary | 12 months |
| katana_consent | This site | Stores your cookie consent choice so we don’t ask again. | Necessary | 12 months |
| NID, CONSENT, SOCS and similar | Set by the embedded Google Map (Find Us) only when you choose to load it. Used by Google for security and preferences. | Third-party (consent) | Up to 24 months (varies by cookie) |
Necessary cookies do not require consent because the site cannot function without them and they are not used for tracking. The embedded Google Map is loaded — and its cookies set — only after you accept it in the banner or click to load the map. If you decline, the map is not loaded and no Google cookies are set.
Managing your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline the embedded map. If you decline, it is not loaded. You can change your mind at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page, which reopens the banner so you can accept or decline again. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies entirely.
